Hong Kong - Oct 26-Nov 1: Canadian Environment Trade Mission to Hong Kong

The Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong, in partnership with The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Canada, would like to invite Canadian companies to join the Canadian Environment Trade Mission to Hong Kong October 26 – November 1, 2009

This mission is organized for Canadian companies in the environment sector that are interested in expanding their business to China and Hong Kong. Canadian companies with environmental technologies, equipment, products and/or services, particularly in the air quality, energy efficiency, waste management & recycling, water & wastewater treatment, renewable energy and eco-friendly products areas are encouraged to participate.

Atlanta - June 8-12: Atlanta International Environmental Trade Mission
The Canadian Consulate General in Atlanta invites Canadian companies to participate in the Atlanta International Environmental Trade Mission, an international conference on environmental technology.

This will be a great opportunity for Canadian companies to introduce their products and services to the Atlanta market. The mission will focus on clean water and wastewater systems, innovative waste management and cutting-edge technologies for green building. Atlanta's economic development stakeholders and international market representatives will exchange information, facilitate collaboration and identify potential economic development opportunities in green business development.

The conference will also include business matchmaking sessions that connect international companies with local firms, meetings with experts from local universities and networking opportunities.

Halifax - September 9-11: DefSec Atlantic 2009
DefSec Atlantic 2009 is an international event in the aerospace, defence and security industries. Participants can display goods and services to procurement officials, network with major prime contractors, learn about leading edge technologies and how the government and major prime contractors support this industry.

China -September 15-29: Ontario’s Automotive Mission to China
The Ontario Ministry of International Trade and Investment (MITI) will organize an Ontario Automotive Trade and Investment Mission to Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hefei, Beijing and Changchun from September 15 to 29, 2009. The mission will focus on automotive parts sector.
